"We are looking for passionate team players."
Who I am
I am Lisa, I am 28 years old and I grew up in the Nuremberg area of southern Germany. After high school I spent a half a year in New Zealand as an Au Pair. I majored in Business Education with a focus on HR at the University of Nuremberg. I worked as a student intern all the way through college. After finishing my Master‘s degree, I directly started working for Senacor.
What I do at Senacor
At Senacor I am mostly concerned with the recruiting process, and here my focus is on student intern and student trainee programs. The first one and a half years I worked at Senacor’s Nuremberg offices; in November 2022 I switched over to the Hamburg location. Our team aims to find and recruit new staff that are a perfect fit for Senacor. Creating a pleasant and interesting candidate experience and application process is our most important goal. We attach great importance to timely feedback and eye-level communication at all stages of the process.
Why HR?
I love working with people, no matter what their age. In recruiting we are responsible for that highest and most valuable capital a company has – their employees. We actively help shaping the future of the company, especially in my area where attracting young talent for student internships and trainees is crucial. Also, working in a consultancy is always very demanding in terms of changing intensity and the constant influx of new challenges and projects. So, I can’t really complain when it comes to variety. My daily work is mostly sifting and assessing applications or conducting wrap-ups and final meetings with interns and trainees. For me, it’s all about working closely with other people!
When and where I work
At Senacor it is up to me when and where I work. Every Senacor employee enjoys this type of flexibility. Personally, I am not somebody who enjoys working from home 5 days a week. I like to go in about 2 to 3 days a week. However, if for some reason it is more convenient to stay home I only go in one day or sometimes not even that. Mind you, especially in HR departments this kind of flexibility is not a given. As for me, I really wouldn’t want to go back to mandatory presence – and at Senacor I won’t have to.
Senacor Highlights
Barcelona! At Senacor there is an annual outing in force to a really cool location. This year, it brought us to the Catalan capital. 800 people, from CEO to intern, packed into 4 charter flights. Four days of events, TED-level keynote speakers and nightly parties! Another highlight at Senacor are definitely my co-workers. All of them super cool and super young and you feel you can have an after-work beer with practically any of them. And, of course, there is a true spirit of eye-level collaboration here.
When the work is done
I have been playing handball in a club team for 18 years now. The sport is really my greatest passion, and it does take up a lot of my free time, what with the team regularly traveling to games at weekends. Other than that, I like to go for a run or sometimes even chill on the couch for an evening. I love travelling, and in 2018 I spent two and half months backpacking in South-East Asia. When not out and about I love to spend time with my friends.
The future
Well, this maybe a little down the road but one day I would love to have a family and live with my kids and a couple of cats in a nice house. But before that happens my biggest dream is a round-the-world trip.

Who I am
I am Kalinda, I am 33 old and I graduated in Business Engineering. I grew up in Würzburg in the south-eastern part of Germany but have been living in Stuttgart for the past 6 years now. I started my career in the construction sector but have switched to consulting in 2019.
What I do at Senacor
Since I joined Senacor in 2021 I mostly work on automotive projects. Currently I act as a Proxy-Product Owner and Proxy-Product Visionary for an application dealing with price master data and pricing for B2B invoicing and contracting.
Why consulting?
I opted for consulting because I love the challenge of finding solutions for ever new problems. You basically learn something new every single day. I am always excited about the variety of tasks and challenges in the projects, and I love working in close conjunction with our clients.
And why Senacor?
As far as I’m concerned Senacor stands for quality of work, innovation and competency. More importantly: these values are actually being lived at Senacor on a daily basis. Also, these are values I myself can heartily subscribe to. What I enjoy most at Senacor is that I can work from home a lot – depending on the individual project, of course. But working from home saves me lengthy commutes and frees up time for other, more important stuff.
A real highlight
My favorite time was the legendary summer camp in Barcelona! Seeing the entire Senacor staff congregate in one place was pretty impressive – and it turned out to be a lot of fun.
And after work?
In my free time you will find me engaged in intense ping-pong battles at Stuttgart’s many outdoor table tennis facilities.

"We are looking for characters with character."
Who I am
I am Jan, 36 years old, and working for Senacor for more than 7 years now. Together with my wife, my two kids and our dog we live in the beautiful northern German town of Hamburg. When not working I try to spend as much time as possible with my family, either by the sea or actually on it (sailing).
What I do at Senacor
I work at Senacor’s Hamburg offices. My clients are automotive OEMs in Germany and in Japan as well as the world’s largest logistics company. I am mostly concerned with complex transformation projects. For example, I am currently helping my logistics client to retain the ability to maintain a functioning cold chain and ship refrigerated goods to ports all over the world.
Pit stops
As a student I had a strange job: I was a courier for special medical freight, flying all over the world. Fun fact: I wrote my Bachelor and Master theses in economy class with a medical transport case stowed away under my seat. After I graduated, I did stints as a project engineer at Airbus Industries and the consulting division of Porsche. I then worked for e&Co. consultancy before I finally joined Senacor.
Why consulting?
Working at Airbus, I learned how sluggish things move at times at large companies. I also learned how much fun it is to look in from the outside as consultant. At Senacor I learned how to hone my craft in a friendly and humane way and how to create a professional environment that is conducive to excellency. Working at Senacor gives me a lot of leeway professionally in how to shape my projects and my work with the client. I keep on learning every day, meet a lot of exciting people and new challenges every day.
Senacor Best Moments
We helped a Japanese automotive OEM to market their newly developed 4-seater executive jet. That culminated in a number of pretty wild meetings at private jet trade fairs in Geneva and in hangars in Chicago and Cincinnati. Another highlight was a round-the-world trip with the CEO of a tier1 supplier, helping to optimize his company’s engineering footprint.
And when all the work is done?
Right after I moved to Hamburg, I became passionate about yachting and sailing. I spent a lot of time on boats on the Lake Alster, and on the North Sea, the Baltic or even the Atlantic. The wind, the waves, and the vast open sea help me clear my head!

"We are looking for creative talents."
Who I am
Hi, I am Sophie, 25 years old and hailing from Frankfurt. However, my roots are in Slovakia, where I used to live for a time before I came to Germany. While studying, I did several internships with very different types of companies, from start-up to consultancy. Before joining Senacor, I spent a few years with a top-10 accounting firm. There I was responsible for the business development in the automotive sector. Ever since then I am really fascinated by all things automotive.
What I do at Senacor
I simply enjoy everything in the automotive sector! I am really excited about technical and technological innovations that turn the industry upside down at the moment. I mostly work in projects concerned with sales IT. With our team no working day is like the other. I love the variety, and I even enjoy the more stressful phases of a project. As consultants we have the freedom to contribute our knowledge and creativity at any given point, challenging the status quo at every turn.
Feel Good
I work at the Eschborn offices, although I often work from home or on site with a client. The teams vary from project to project. We all know each other very well though, so the work is fun, no matter what the staff constellation for the project.
Senacor is really trying to make the people working here as comfortable as possible. You notice this in so many ways, not least when working in their state-of-the-art office spaces. Also, the way we are looked after when working in the offices is simply phenomenal: gourmet barrista coffee, all kinds of drinks and foods as well as frequent get-togethers and other events. They take good care of you here.
Senacor Highlights
Recently my team was on a “workathon” in a holiday villa on the Mediterranean island of Crete. Usually we all work from different locations, so it was really fun to have everybody in the same place for once and work together and have fun together. It was definitely a memorable week, and we really bonded as a team.
Where things are going
Professionally, I am looking forward to many more years of exciting consulting projects, where new challenges await at every turn. As to my free time, it has been my big dream to take a trip with a hot-air balloon. I have a lot of other dreams and goals, but I’m not telling, because I rather keep working so that they may come true someday.

"We are looking for courageous adventurers."
Who I am
Hi, I am Timo, 31 years old and originally from Berlin. For the past two years my main occupation is being a consultant for Senacor. My other occupation – when I’m off the job – is being an adventurer. Trekking and hang-gliding in the Alps is my passion. Curiosity and a thurst for adventure are my mainsprings: never knowing what the outcome will be, but always all-in. I can safely say that this goes for my work at Senacor, too.
What I do at Senacor
I work out of the Berlin office, mostly in the automotive and mobility industries. In addition to that, I work transformation projects as well as product & service enrichment projects. I am part of a young team that runs the operational and technical project management of individual modules and design modules. Our goal is to achieve optimal deployment of product innovations across all segments.
Some biography
After high school I did 3 years of vocational training in retail car sales administration and then went on to study Business Administration and Automotive Management. While still in college I worked all over Europe for OEMs at trade fairs and road shows. After I had my degree, I briefly joined a leading German automotive distributor, before I starting to work at Senacor.
What counts
I think it is very exciting to see up close how companies are being managed. My job is to contribute independently to management-level decision making. It’s a great feeling when what you do actually counts for something. The freedom to create and shape processes and projects as well as my curiosity for new challenges and solutions are my answer to the question: “Why are you in consulting?”
No boredom, ever
Depending on the project I can either work from home, the Senacor office or the on-site office at the client’s. That means I have great freedom in organizing my working days, which translates to a lot of variety. I sometimes spend a few weeks on a project, but sometimes I stick with a project for several months. That means I enjoy a constant change between sprint and deep dive. It’s that kind of variety that keeps you on your toes and prepares you for just about any (professional) challenge.
The team and I
Eye-level collaboration. Friendship among colleagues. Having fun working. On top of that: enthusiasm and drive for our job. All of this taken together makes for a great working environment at Senacor. I am truly happy here.
Senacor Highlights
Professional highlight: A task force project at a global automotive OEM for planning worldwide design modules and country launches. During this project I was closely plugged in with country organizations and markets in order to frequently re-evaluate the product portfolio and mediate possible conflicts. That was an exciting time for me where I learned a lot.
Social highlight: Meeting all my colleagues at the Barcelona summer summit after months and months of only working remote. The team spirit and especially the humor in my team are hard to beat. Many of my coworkers have become close friends. And you’d rather meet your friends in person, don’t you? Especially if you have cause for celebration, like a job well-done.
After all the work is done
As an ardent hiker, climber, yachtsman, and glider pilot nature is my favorite playground. Sometimes, of course, nature proves to be quite challenging as well. However, I love going out there and discover things, sometimes consciously opting for certain well-calculated risks that then reward me with very special experiences. I do get to see many places from the singularly exciting bird’s eye perspective. It is these moments that provide the perfect balance to a sometimes tough job.

Who I am
I am Karoline, I’m 27 years old and I come from Vienna. I studied Technical Mathematics at the University of Vienna and have focused on coding very early on. Very soon after receiving my master’s degree I joined Senacor, and by now I have risen to the exalted rank of a Senior Developer.
What I do at Senacor
Right now, I am part of a project that builds a digital platform for business loans for one of the leading banks in Germany. We employ state-of-the-art tools and agile development techniques. At the moment I am concentrating on things like migration to cloud, CI/CD, DevOps, data integration, and applications monitoring.
Why go with Senacor?
A school friend of mine told me about Senacor and the career profiles on their website. Reading those, I directly recognized myself in them. After the interview day, I very quickly decided that this was the company for me. The cases were exciting and the talks with the people who work there were really intriguing to me. Besides, I really liked that Senacor makes an effort to make us math-and-science people feel welcome and appreciated.
The Spirit
On my first day at Senacor we were told to write a postcard to ourselves. Those cards were then sent to us when our first year with the company had passed. I’m not going to tell you what I wrote to myself. But the picture of the card sported one of the Senacor mottoes: “Doing is like intending to do. Only a lot more radical!” I think this phrase really does describe our attitude: We approach problems and challenges with a kind of hands-on pragmatism. We not only talk the talk we also walk the walk.
Keep on learning
At Senacor you are constantly being encouraged to further develop yourself and keep on training yourself. I actively use the classes and courses to get certifications. I also use my training budget for books and for subscriptions with online platforms. When I feel the need to study a subject more in-depth, alone or as part of a study group, I am free to stay away from my current project for a few days, only checking in remote or for on-site meets. I have participated in several such Innovation Labs, and I really do find them to be a great way of organizing further training.
Relaxing
For me that means sports. Not only when home, but also when I travel with my team to a project site or client offices out of town. My colleagues and I often work out or boulder together as a group, which means sore muscles are guaranteed the next day. There is also the Senacor running team which signs up for several runs a year. When at home, I also like to spend time with a good book.

Who I am
My name is Cora Albert. I am 28 years old and originally from the Frankfurt/Main area. I studied Business Informatics in Mannheim and Frankfurt and then finished my Master’s at the University of Regensburg in Bavaria. I live in Munich and have been working at the Senacor offices here for three years now.
What I do at Senacor
I work as a senior consultant in the retail banking field. My current project sees me in the role of a solution architect. As such, I collate professional specifications and requirements, analyze them, and then deduce the appropriate solutions architecture. I make decisions about what technologies to use, define required functionalities and write user stories for the development team. I work in an international team that is divided up between Germany, Eastern Europe and India.
My typical week
Usually I start working around 9 am. Mornings are mostly reserved for meetings, our daily team meeting being one of them. But there also meetings with project stakeholders to hash out specs and to work out solutions. Around noon, I either go out for lunch with colleagues or, when working from home, I cook something for myself. In the afternoons I have more meetings and working sessions with other team members. I always try to keep enough time slots open to be able to think about solutions without distraction or to write user stories. To cut a long story short: I myself am entirely responsible for planning and scheduling my week, with almost every day being different from the one before.
Why Senacor and why consulting?
I have always been attracted to the idea of working as a consultant. This, because you’ll constantly get to know different companies and different professional areas and you’ll always have new projects and you’ll never be bored. What attracted me most to Senacor as an employer was the fact that we not only develop new strategies and concepts for our client companies, but we get to see them through right until the go-live stage. For me, Senacor is just the right mix of exciting projects, smart people, highly motivated teams, and the necessary amount of fun.
Kicking back
When off work, I mostly like to spend time with my boyfriend or other friends. I also love the mountains, skiing or hiking. Ever since I spent 4 months in New Zealand as part of a student exchange program, it has been my dream of returning there one day for an extensive trip.

Who I am
Hi, I am Fabio, born in Steyria, a part of Austria. I’ve always been a hybrid kind of character, split between a techie and a business type. Because of my passion for areas where tech and business converge, I have practically started working for Senacor before I even finished my studies at the Technical University of Munich. I was part of the Senacor SMARTStudent program, then intern in the consulting branch and later in systems development.
What I do at Senacor
Whenever I’m not working from home I’m working in the Munich office. My job at Senacor is Head of Business Applications, responsible for building, running, and further developing the operative application environment. In that particular capacity I lead a team of 30 colleagues. However, in another role I am also directly in contact with customers, at the moment mostly concerning finance and insurance software.
Why am I with Senacor?
It has always been important to me to have as much flexibility and as many options as possible in my job. Senacor has offered my just that, and right from the start. Many other companies I checked out, especially consultancies, promised flat hierarchies. But then some senior partner always called at 11 pm and dumped some “really exciting” material/job/project in my lap, TBD by the next day. At Senacor things are different: We all work towards the same goals and we communicate at eye-level always.
Excitement guaranteed
The exciting thing about my job is that I am faced with brand new challenges every single day. It might happen I have to thresh out how to interface Japanese bank accounts with a financial service provider, so that employees may receive their paychecks, then decide about design parameters in a tailor-made development project, and then discuss loose ends of system integration for the Brazilian tax authorities.
Highlights and favorite projects?
I was part of the French market launch of a software company specializing in municipal budget administration. I was the only Senacor employee who was actually on site, despite the fact that I was only a lowly intern at the time. So much about getting a lot of responsibility from day one. Another highlight was being part of the design and implementation of the entire IT environment of a newly founded company that developed financial software. Only nine months for the founding and the setting up for business of a global company – that is nothing short of a tour de force. But I was right in there, from start to completion.
There’s more to life than just work
Currently I am preparing to take the exam for the 3. Dan in Taekwondo. Other than that, I go on little cruises with my bike. I also still code a little, working on private projects so that I may not go completely rusty.

Who I am
Hi, I am Viet, 32 years young. I majored in Computer Science at Karlsruhe University with a little detour via Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania/USA. Originally I’m from Vietnam and have moved to Germany to join my parents when I was 12 years old who already lived here for some time. Before I joined Senacor, I founded a company in Vietnam that develops and sells restaurant-management applications. I have always had a goodish amount of entrepreneurial spirit in me.
What I do at Senacor
So far, my projects at Senacor were mostly in banking and automotive. Right now, I am working for a large German automotive OEM as a developer for service/backend. The project is about building a subscription system for used-car rentals.
Why I am at Senacor
To be honest, when I wrote my application I didn’t know much about Senacor. But then right from the start I really liked the general atmosphere of the place and the warm and friendly interviewing process. And this feeling never left me after I started to work here. There is a kind of friendly cooperation and humor in our team that makes for a really relaxed atmosphere. Every day brings new and exciting challenges and the learning curve is ever so steep (sometimes vertical…). All in all, I find these are pretty convincing reasons to work at Senacor.
The good things that come extra
Whatever project you are on at any given time, you always keep learning and it really and truly never gets boring. That’s a real plus as far as I’m concerned. Of course, sometimes things can become a little stressful. But that’s part of it, plain and simple, and it never lasts long enough to really wear you down. What I really do appreciate is working flextime and a choice between office and working at home. That gives you an amazing amount of freedom. Also, I like the system they have here for personal further-training allotments. I do make frequent use of that, taking classes and courses at interesting locations.
Highlights and favorite projects?
Actually, the project I am doing right now is the most exciting one I have been asked to participate in so far. I am part of a great team that is really honed to perfection, with everybody super helpful. All in all it’s a relaxed and stress-free working environment. I’m really enjoying this at the moment. A big highlight was my first Summer Party at Senacor which took place in Hamburg. That really was one heck of a shindig the put on for us.
Even I don’t work all the time
In my free time I do a lot of sports – kick-boxing and bouldering mostly. But I really don’t mind just relaxing an entire Sunday either, just chilling, reading a book. I also love travelling, and once or twice a year I team up with friends and we backpack across some wilderness or other. I do have this dream of visiting North Korea. But only if it’s a guaranteed round-trip ticket …
